Temporary Plastic Fabrication Assembly Worker 
£7.50 an hour – Temporary

PolyPlas Engineering are looking to recruit a number of temporary Plastic Fabricator Assembly Workers to join our fabrication team for a period of approximately 15 -20 weeks to complete a specific contract. For individuals that show a strong work ethic and the right aptitude and skills in performing the role there may be the opportunity for a permanent role as business needs allow.

The main purpose of the role is to produce quality products ensuring the company standards are maintained.

The main duties of the role is production manufacture of a fabricated and welded item using hand tools, hot air welder and hot wire bending.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

The ideal candidates will need to work as part of a team, working to timescales and production targets.

Hand tool skills are required, but training will be provided.

An eye for detail and maintaining quality is required.

You will also need to be capable of some heavy physical lifting work


Hours and days to be agreed but it likely to include some early evening and weekend work, so you will need to be flexible to meet production needs.

Pay: £7.50 per hour

CNC Programmer

PolyPlas Engineering also manufacture complimenting steel fabrications, such as access ladders, walkways, workplatforms etc.

PolyPlas Engineering are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Router Progammer/Operator to join our team due to the continued expansion of the business.

This role is for someone who has experience of flat bed routing in either a wood working and/or plastics environment. This is not a setter/operator role as full knowledge of programming is required as well being hands on and loading and operating the CNC router.

The ideal candidate will:

Be an experienced CNC Router Programmer and Operator
Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Programme the CNC Router using AlphaCam software
Be able to load up programs for manufacturing
Work in a fast paced environment where efficiency and quality is key
Must have a good eye for detail
Be able to work on own initiative as well as work with the whole team
The ability to use AutoCad and Solidworks to produce drawings would be preferred/advantageous.

The successful candidate would also be required to assist in fabrication duties and full training would be given, if required. This is a hands on role.
